Host a Toy Adaption Workshop

To create a surplus of adaptable toys for the community, we realize that we could use your help! HuskyADAPT hosts toy adaptation workshops all year long with any group no matter the age, interest, or ability level. We've hosted beginner workshops with university students, elementary to high school students, clinicians, summer programs, and many more. If you believe your group would be interested in adapting toys for the community, please fill out the following form below.

Each toy adaptation workshop takes about 2 hours and must be in a space that has work tables with plenty of access to power outlets for soldering irons. We ask that groups hosting workshops cover the costs of all materials, if possible. However, if this is not a possibility for you or your group, let us know and we will do our best to work with you! The base price of a workshop is typically $15/attendee. This covers the price of the toys, adaption materials, and volunteers' time. Please note that this price may be subject to change depending on the location of the event. We will send a more detailed quote after you submit your request. If possible, we prefer to purchase all materials to ensure that the appropriate toys and materials are selected. If you would prefer to purchase your own supplies, let us know and we will work with you to select the proper materials.
